About Me
Welcome Falcons!
I am excited to be your Math Instructor this school year. I have been teaching for 5 years at AHS and going on my sixth year. I graduated from CSU Stanislaus in 2014 with a Bachelors in Mathematics and received my Single Subject Teaching Credential in 2015. I am married and was blessed with a baby boy; he is now 3 years old.
I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you. My goal this year is to help you think and act like a mathematician. A mathematician is NOT someone who can add, subtract, multiply/divide, or solve problems quickly. A mathematician is someone who can problem, solve problems using different strategies, or solve a problem using various methods, communicates their findings effectively and collaborates with others to find solutions. If I can help you achieve one or all of these skills by the end of the school, I have done my job. I hope I can inspire you to love mathematics as much as I do :)
